Chief Financial Officer Ref: CFO/0411 Job Objectives Reporting to the President & CEO, the role is accountable for strategic and tactical matters relating to accounting, budgeting, treasury and financial planning. Job Responsibilities Define and promulgate the corporate business objectives and strategies, making sure that any finance management programs, processes and initiatives are geared towards their attainment without fail. Implement the corporate financial controls and auditing standards to ensure maximum utilization of its limited financial resources within approved budgets, Ensure that the company has adequate t1nancial reserves to meet contingency funding for asset acquisition outside of approved budgets as well as covering unplanned emergency situations. Approve and authorize the funding capital and operating expense outlays for various departments in the company up to the prescribed limits beyond which they have to be presented to the CEO or Board of Directors for approval. Review and enhance accounting, financial management and auditing procedures to adopt new and more cost effective methods. Represent the company in high level industry meetings involving the heads of government regulatory commissions and banking institutions. Provide regular reporting to the CEO and tile Board of Directors on the financial health of the company. Qualification/Skills Degree/HND in Accounting/Economics, ICAN, CIMA is an added advantage Minimum of 10 years experience (with at least 2 in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry) Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles and reporting systems. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. 2.) Accounting Officer Ref: ACT/0411 Job Objectives Reporting to the CFO, the role is accountable for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely t1nancial reports and statements and ensure appropriate account.ing control procedures. Job Responsibilities Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Monitor and support taxation issues. Develop and maintain t1nancial data bases. Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process. Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, I1nancial commitments and future revenues Qualification/Skills Degree /HND in Accounting. possession of ICAN Certificate is an added advantage Minimum of 5 years experience (with at least 2 in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry) Knowledge of accepted accounting, auditing and economic principles and practices Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations Candidate must he analytical with excellent planning and organizing skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications 3.) Business Development Executives Ref: BDE/0411 The Role Reporting to the GM, Supply & Logistics, the role is accountable for building valuable industry relationships to generate opportunities in support of company's growth objectives, Job Responsibilities Initiate registration of Company with oil exploration and production companies. Gather relevant data and industry intelligence to help position Company's value proposition to clients. Propose Company's services to identified prospects, Generate Request for Quotations (RFQs )/Purchase Orders (POs) on a consistent basis. Assist in coordinating submission of tenders within stipulated target dates. Monitor implementation and execution of projects to client's satisfaction. Qualification/Skills Degree/HND in Engineering, Business Administration or Social Sciences Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Candidates must be self-driven, passionate and result oriented, with excellent communication and networking skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications 4.) HSE Officer Ref: HSE/0411 Job Responsibilities Compile safety reports and conduct safety audits. Ensure implementation of safe work practices. Monitor equipment operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Advising and educating workers on Safety practices. Enforce stop work authority where safe practices are not being observed. Qualification/Skills Degree/HND with related HSE trainings 2 years related experience preferably in the oil and gas industry Recognized Safety Training Certificate Knowledge of Safety Standards and Systems.
